1-Year Defect Warranty
Our solid hardwood scratch board is built to outlast hundreds of pads. We back that with a 1-year warranty against material and manufacturing defects from your delivery date.
What is covered
- Wood splitting from normal use
- Pad-housing failure (the area where the sandpaper pad sits)
- Treat-well damage that affects function
- Manufacturing defects (warping out of the box, loose fittings, etc.)
What is not covered
- Cosmetic wear (scratches, color, texture from normal use - that is the point)
- The sandpaper pads themselves (consumable - replace as needed)
- Damage from chewing, drops, or use other than nail-care scratching
How to claim
Email a photo of the issue plus your order number to hello@thecalmmethod.com. We respond within one business day. If covered, we ship a replacement at our cost - no return shipping required.
30-Day Method Guarantee (separate from warranty)
If the method doesn't work for your dog within 30 days, we refund the full purchase including the board. Read the full refund policy.
Last updated: May 17, 2026. Replaces our prior "Lifetime Board Warranty" which we are not in a position to honor consistently. Existing orders placed under the prior policy remain covered at our discretion for the same 1-year defect period.
