Shipping

Shipping is free in the US.

Where we ship

We ship to the 50 US states. We don't ship internationally yet.

Processing time

Orders ship in 1-2 business days. We don't process orders on weekends or US federal holidays.

Delivery time

After your order ships, expect about 3 weeks (10-15 business days) for delivery.

Tracking

We email a tracking number when your order ships. Carrier tracking can take 24 hours to update after the email.

Wrong address

You're responsible for the address you enter at checkout. If a package returns to us because of an address error, we'll reach out to confirm the corrected address. Reshipping costs may apply.

Lost or marked-delivered-but-missing packages

If your tracking shows delivered but the package isn't there: check with neighbors and the carrier first (most "missing" packages are scanned early). If it doesn't turn up after 48 hours, email hello@thecalmmethod.com - we'll file the carrier claim with you.

Returns & Guarantees

We sell a method. If it doesn't work for your dog, we refund the whole purchase - board included.

The 30-day method guarantee

You have 30 days from delivery to test the method. If your dog won't engage with the board after 30 days of the training plan, email hello@thecalmmethod.com with your order number. We refund the full purchase, board included. No questions, no fees, no return shipping cost on you.

What "won't engage" means

You followed the day-by-day plan and on day 30 your dog still won't put a paw on the pad. That's the bar. If you're on day five and you're not sure, email us - we'll send the slow-track plan, no charge, before any refund conversation.

Lifetime board guarantee

The hardwood board is built to outlast the first pad. If the board cracks, splits, or warps from normal use, we replace it for life. Email hello@thecalmmethod.com with a photo and your order number - replacement is on us.

Pad subscription - skip, pause, cancel

Pad refills are optional and flexible. From your account portal:

  • Skip the next shipment
  • Pause for any number of months
  • Cancel in one tap, anytime, no fee

Cancellations apply to the next billing cycle. We don't charge for shipments that haven't shipped yet.

Damaged on arrival

If your order arrives damaged, photograph it before unpacking further and email hello@thecalmmethod.com within 48 hours. We send a replacement and a return label.

Refund processing

Approved refunds post to your original payment method within 5-10 business days. If you don't see it after 10 business days, email us.

What's not covered

  • Pads after they've been used (sandpaper wears - that's the design)
  • Boards damaged from misuse (chewed, soaked, or used outside the intended scratching motion)
  • Returns requested more than 30 days from delivery
  • Gift cards
